Come enjoy a fun afternoon of painting a protrait of your pet with a step-by-step instructor to benefit the homeless dogs of I Heart Dogs Rescue and Animal Haven. Don’t have a pooch to paint? We have lots of cuties to be your muse. Urbanrest Brewing Co. is hosting the FUNdrasiser with their own delicious craft beer and a food truck available for purchase. There will also be a 50/50 raffle, merchandise for sale, and adoptable dogs on-site to meet (weather permitting). Paint your own Monet!

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Register for this class using the ticket form below.
2. Send a HEAD SHOT (see below for examples) of your pet to dan@thepaintandpour.com by April 7th. Late submissions will have a $10 late fee attached to the ticket price. All ticket sales will be cut off by April 10th.

WARNING: You MUST send in your pet’s picture by noon on April 7th (after purchasing your ticket) for us to have your canvas prepared. If you send in your picture late, there will be an additional $10 fee applied. All ticket sales will be cut off on April 10th.

3. Our artists will walk you through the steps to bring your pets sketch to life as an acrylic painted masterpiece of your very own!

EVENT INFORMATION AND POLICIES

PUBLIC EVENTS ARE ADULT ONLY, UNLESS SPECIFICALLY MARKED

All of our public classes are Adult classes, as there will be drinking and adult oriented humor, unless specifically marked as a Family Day or Adult & Teen class. We prefer for guests to be 21+, but will allow guests age 18+ to attend, as long as they understand that we have a zero tolerance policy on underage drinking. Anyone caught engaging in such will be asked to leave with their entire party.

For children and teenagers, we offer Family Day and Adult & Teen classes on Saturdays and Sundays at noon, at all of our studio locations.

Private Events can choose their own maturity level, and thus allow whatever age ranges the organizer desires.

ONLINE PRE-REGISTRATION IS * HEAVILY ENCOURAGED * FOR ALL EVENTS.

This includes tickets purchased via Gift Certificates, Reschedule Vouchers, Groupons, Living Socials, etc. If you do not understand how to register for your ticket with one of these options, please refer to *this tutorial* for further instructions, or call our customer support at (734) 720-9777.

We setup each class based on our pre-registration sales, including making sure that we have the appropriate staff and materials to adequately serve our patrons. Failing to pre-register can easily lead to being unable to attend a class, as it might be sold out, or delaying the class start time as we scramble to setup the needed materials for unanticipated attendees.

Please pre-register, it’s in everyone’s best interest.

DOOR FEES of $5-10 APPLY FOR * ALL * WALK INS

In the event that you have failed to utilize our pre-payment options, we will do our best to accommodate you at the check in desk for the event, assuming there are any available seats (many times, there are not).

However, a “Door Fee” of $5 will be required (as long as you have shown up before the listed start time) for last minute processing of your order, or $10 (if you have shown up no later than 15 minutes after the scheduled start time), on top of the normal cost for the class. This charge is applied regardless of how you pay for a class, including through the use of vouchers, Groupons, etc.

Walk in payments are extremely disruptive, and frequently delay class start times as our staff rushes to accommodate. Please keep this in mind and pre-register online, as requested.

CASH PAYMENT FOR TICKETS

Assuming there is still space available in the class (many times, there is not), we will accept cash payments for tickets. For cash payments, please arrive at least 15 minutes early so that we can gather your information and get you setup. You will be responsible for the Door Fee listed below:

$5	Before the scheduled start time
$10	Up to 15 minutes after the scheduled start time
NOT ACCEPTED	More than 15 minutes after the scheduled start time

WALK INS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED 15 MINUTES PAST THE SCHEDULED START TIME

At 15 minutes past the start time of the event, no further walk in payments (of any sort, including vouchers/Groupons) will be accepted. Once we have started the class, it is extremely disruptive to stop the class to process walk in payments, and completely unfair to the rest of our patrons.

If you can not process your registration online, then please make sure to arrive early so we can take care of your needs in a timely manner. This policy exists to protect our patron’s time, and to prevent the class from being unfairly delayed.

We appreciate your understanding in this matter.

LATE ARRIVALS WITH PRE-REGISTRATIONS

If you have pre-registered for a ticket online, and show up late, then you are welcome to attempt to catch up with the rest of the class. However, it is unfair of us to stop the entire class to attempt to directly assist an individual that failed to show up on time. We will do our best to assist the late arrival as much as we can, without creating undue delay for the rest of the class.

We hope our customers will understand that this policy exists to protect the time of all of our customers.

BYOB & FOOD POLICY AT STUDIO LOCATIONS

All of Paint and Pour’s Studio locations are BYOB, allowing guests to bring in their own food and drinks. You can bring in whatever you like, but you are responsible for following all regulations of the Michigan State Liquor Law and the Liquor Control Board. Basically, this means no open containers can be brought in, or leave, the studio.

We do provide cups, napkins, plates, utensils, wine keys, bottle openers, and other accoutrements.

In regards to food, it is advised to keep things limited to hand food/appetizers/hors d’oeuvre, as you will not have the time or space for a full meal.

FOOD & DRINKS POLICY AT BARS & RESTAURANTS (NOT BYOB)

Paint and Pour offers off site events at Bars and Restaurants all across Greater Detroit and Flint. Unlike our studio events, these parties are NOT BYOB. You are welcome to purchase whatever food or drinks you like from the venue, but the Health Code prohibits them from allowing customers to bring in their own consumables.

Possible exceptions are usually made for birthday/celebration cakes, but prior approval should be acquired directly from the venue in question.

NOTE: Paint and Pour reserves the right to cancel any event that does not have a minimum number of attendees. We do our best to delay cancellation to the very last moment, up to 4 hours before the scheduled start time, to give the maximum amount of time for patrons to schedule their attendance. If a class you wish to attend disappears off of the calendar on the day of the event, it may be possible to resurrect it. Call (734) 720-9777 and inform them that you are interested in attending the canceled class. If your attendance brings us over the minimum number of attendees, we will re-post the class and open ticket sales again.

If your class has been canceled, you will be contacted via email and phone to make arrangements to reschedule your tickets. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause, but it is financially impossible to host a class without a minimum number of attendees.
